Spring Break Cruise – Part 6 of 7

Spring Break Cruise – Part 6 of 7

Day 6 was another sea day. We decided to be bums. We slept in a bit had breakfast in the buffet, and played Scrabble in the Crow’s Nest. Silly Hubs and TG – I whooped their butts! The fools “fell victim to one of the classic blunders. The most famous is ‘Never get involved in a land war in Asia,’ but only slightly less well known is this: ‘Never go in against a Sicilian when death is on the line,'” and even less renowned, “Never underestimate a Words With Friends junkie in a live Scrabble game!”

After the Scrabble massacre, we had a bit of lunch, after which those two went to the pool while I hung out with my ‘rents for a bit and then I decided to draft each of these blog posts from a shady upper deck spot.

On my way back to the cabin, I stopped to snap one of my favorite art pieces on board.

Here, you *may* start to get an idea of what you’re supposed to see.

But if you look at juuuuuust the right angle…

As the artist intended…

Indicated by the viewing hole…

Peering into a quarter sized hole, you can finally see the intended image. I mean, how cool is that? I think Magritte would approve. Magritte’s “The Son of Man” (for reference).

That’s pretty much it for the day. Before I sign off, enjoy our adorable towel elephant, left by our cabin steward.

He’s so cute.

Step count for the day: 10,882
