Since there was still some money left on his gift card, BJ and I went to Russ & Daughters’ Chelsea location for lunch on Tuesday. Being a creature of habit, I had the same thing, plus a bisel (actual name for the size container) of chopped liver. The bagel & nova lox with scallion cheese was just as good as at the original location, but I could NOT get over the chopped liver. Best I’ve ever had (sorry, Mimi)! If I remember, I’m going to have to import some for the next holiday I host.
