Last week, I did 10 minute workouts on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. After the first two, I totally needed a nap. Friday, I was tired, but it wasn’t as bad. I took the weekend off and did another 10 minute, 5 lb weights workout on Monday (the same one I did on Wednesday last week). No nap needed! AND, that was after wandering all over Sam’s Club! So, today, I stepped it up a notch and finally returned to the gym for 20 minutes on the recumbent bike. It felt really good to feel the burn – even at a measly 63 rpm. I was tired afterwards, but a little caffeine went a long way and I’ve stayed upright all afternoon. Pretty amazing since I got a lousy sleep last night.
Normally, I won’t leave the house without my “face” on these days, but I refuse to put on makeup to go to the gym. I think that’s so silly. So, I went, sans hair, sans eyebrows, sans lashes. And you know what? It was awesome!
