A Bisel Dis... A Bisel Dat

Adventures in Neutropenia – July 14, 2015

So, last Night I had a little temperature. It only got as high as 100, so I just laid in bed, hot, achy, and not sleeping until about 3 am, when it finally broke. I figured since it didn’t get high I would just wait until today when I came in for my port draw to see what the good doctor would like to do about this situation. I’ve bought myself a short stay in one of the deluxe treatment rooms (deluxe means it has a bed and a private bathroom – ooh la la). For now I’m going to get some fluids, cultures, and a chest X-ray (to rule out pneumonia). I’m hoping to not be incarcerated (or, as Hubs misread my text, incinerated).

Cultures, cultures, and more cultures.

A short stay in the deluxe suite…how fancy! Hopefully it is just that, a very short stay and you get to come home today! I’ve got Mere tomorrow so you can recover!

I had a hard time getting past “since I didn’t get high.” He he he. I hope you are not incinerated long and that you don’t have pneumonia.
