Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat

Sit Down You’re Rockin’ The Boat

After yesterday’s premature publication, I give you the real Installment #2 of my cruise journal…

Cruise – Tuesday 1-12-16

While The Girl went to the kids’ club yesterday afternoon, we found Happy Hour! Buy one drink, get another (the same) for $1. I ordered 3 glasses of Nobilo, got 3 more for $1 each, saving big $$ (well, not really BIG money, but exciting anyway) on a bottle. So, normally, a bottle is $32 + 15%, and a glass is $8. So, for $27, I got a bottle plus a glass. Look at me, doing math!

We got The Girl back in time for dinner, and then she went back to the kids’ club for more fun. Hubs and I headed to one of the lounges for a rousing game of Name That Tune Trivia. Theo (Assistant Cruise Director) played a bit of a song, and we had to name that tune AND artist. It was fun, but tougher than I thought it was going to be. Needless to say, we did not win.

This morning, I slept in until around 8ish, and after loading up on bacon and such, I headed to the fitness center. There’s quite a bit more motion to the ocean today, making the elliptical an interesting experience, not to mention a core workout boost. Same for weightlifting. Now, you’re probably saying to yourself, “Oh, she’s one of THOSE people, all high and mighty because she’s sticking to her exercise routine on vacation.” Don’t get your panties in a bunch. I only hit the gym these two times, and decided to luxuriate in laziness on the last sea day.

If you can, please enjoy this snippet of our steel drum lesson (and the rocking of the boat). Videography credit goes to The Girl.
